Rocket growth for Dr.Dropin Bedrift: Enters agreement with DNB on occupational health services

DNB is choosing Dr.Dropin Bedrift as a new provider of occupational health services for its more than 10,000 employees. The agreement will help strengthen work on health, working environment and prevention, and marks an important milestone for Dr.Dropin Bedrift.

A challenger in the occupational health market

Since its start in 2022, Dr.Dropin Bedrift has challenged the established players in the occupational health services market. The company now serves more than 150,000 employees across 3,500 customers in the private and public sectors, including Strawberry, Posten Bring and XXL.

– Norwegian employers are prioritizing doing more to create a better working environment, good follow-up of employees and lower sick leave. We have tried to challenge the market with more modern solutions, says Erik Rønningen Ruhs, founder and CEO of Dr.Dropin Bedrift.

In 2025 the company had revenues of NOK 69 million and a profit before tax of NOK 9.5 million. This year, the challenger is aiming for revenues of close to NOK 100 million. According to Ruhs, the Norwegian market for occupational health services is worth more than NOK two billion annually.

– We have focused on simplifying and modernizing occupational health services without compromising on quality. Among other things, we have no binding period. Customers should stay because they want to, not because they have to. We have found a vacant position in the market, says Ruhs.

Agreement with DNB

The company will now deliver occupational health services to DNB's more than 10,000 employees across the country, adding one of Norway's best-known businesses to its customer list.

– We are very pleased to enter into this agreement. DNB is committed to employee health and working environment, and we have managed to meet their requirements. This agreement is a great vote of confidence for us, says Ruhs.

The collaboration includes advice on sick leave follow-up, prevention of working environment challenges, skills development and other HSE services. Extensive use of digital tools will make it easier to follow up the work on the working environment.

– We work actively on measures to reduce sick leave and already have a lower level than the industry average. At the same time, working environment and occupational health is something we must continue to develop, says Even Westerveld, Group Executive Vice President for People and Communication at DNB.

He emphasizes that good partners are essential to succeeding in this work.

– The goal is to create a good working environment where our people thrive, develop and perform well together. For that we need partners with high professional expertise, efficient health services and user-friendly solutions. We look forward to a good collaboration, says Westerveld.

The value of the agreement is not public and will vary depending on needs. The term is three years, but Dr.Dropin Bedrift imposes no binding period requirement.
