What is included in the price?
When you start your digital weight loss with Dr.Dropin, you will meet your weight loss doctor, who will follow you and your development over time.
The video consultations you carry out will include:
- Assessment of your illness and weight history (assessment session)
- Assessment and follow-up of test results (if required)
- Information about and follow-up of medicines (incl. prescriptions)
- Follow-up of your weight loss
- Dose adjustment and advice related to any side effects
- Personal guidance and treatment plan
- Access to chat with doctors for follow-up between consultations
- Discounts on consultations with psychologists or physiotherapists if necessary
Best price
Dr.Dropin works to be the best in price and quality for doctor-guided weight loss in private. With us, you choose yourself, in consultation with your doctor, how often you will come for follow-up.
Experience indicates that most people have a follow-up appointment every 2 or 3 months when the start-up has stabilized. If you look at it as a monthly price, in this case you will pay between NOK 265,- and ~397,- per month for your follow-up appointments.
The need for follow-up is individual and we therefore only charge for the consultations you actually need.
Medicine prices
The price for the medicines you start on (e.g. weight-reducing medicines, heart medicines etc.) as agreed with your doctor, is not included in the consultation price.
The new weight-reducing medicines vary in price and depend on which dose you are put on in consultation with your doctor. The price for the most common weight-reducing drugs that are given as injections varies today from ~X to ~Y per month. You can read more about the various weight-reducing medicines on the suppliers' websites.
Through digital weight loss with Dr.Dropin, you will receive good information from your dietician about any medications that are recommended for you.
